Become a Saathi

Be the reason someone feels heard

A Saathi is someone who listens with empathy, patience, and care. At Ek Rupiya Ek Saathi, Saathis play a vital role in supporting individuals who need a safe space to talk and feel understood.

You don’t need to have all the answers — you just need the willingness to listen.

What Does a Saathi Do?

As a Saathi, you provide:

  • Compassionate and non-judgmental listening

  • Emotional support in a safe and respectful manner

  • A calm presence during difficult conversations

Saathis do not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. The focus is on listening and gentle guidance.

Who Can Become a Saathi?

You may be a good fit to become a Saathi if you are a counsellor, psychologist, or mental health professional, a psychology student or trained listener, or someone who naturally brings empathy, patience, and emotional awareness into conversations.

All Saathis are onboarded responsibly and work within clear ethical boundaries to ensure safe, respectful, and supportive interactions.
